Hydrofeet®: Fight Obesity in Small Steps

Obesity

Obesity is one of America’s biggest problems today. According to an article published by the American Diabetes Association written by Jennifer B. Marks, nearly two-thirds of adult Americans are considered overweight or obese. Yet despite a growing diet and exercise industry, it can be a challenge to decide which path to take. Simplicity is the key to getting started.  One of the ways of getting into a healthier path is by walking. But, people that are considered obese or overweight usually find it difficult to walk, so the use of Hydrofeet® massaging insoles is advised to help people through this challenging transition.

Walking is considered to be the best form of exercise. It’s free and one can do it anytime, anywhere. Like any activity, walking can be painful. The pain that’s usually associated with walking commonly stems from too much pressure that the feet receive from the body and the ground surface. This pressure puts too much strain on the feet and leg muscles, which results to painful walking.

Hydrofeet® massaging insoles primarily works by relieving pressure felt by the feet. It acts as a cushion, which absorbs the impact of one’s body weight as we walk. The impact is absorbed by the liquid glycerin filling inside this massaging insoles. The glycerin is able to take on the pressure properly without easily losing support. Other materials like memory foam or gel used in other massaging insoles don’t last long, so they cannot provide long term support and cushion to the feet.

The liquid glycerin filling used in Hydrofeet® massaging insoles is vegetable based, pharmaceutical grade, and FDA approved. This means it’s safe and won’t cause irritation even if it comes into contact with the skin. But this is still unlikely to happen since Hydrofeet® is rated for 600 pounds of pressure square inch.

Outdoor Activities

Hydrofeet® massaging insoles has been designed for real people, including individuals whose weights exceed the normal ranges. It is made with thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). This material combines the best of the rubber and plastic world. It has the durability of rubber and the light weight of plastic, which make it incredibly thin yet strong at the same time. This is definitely a perfect combination to support all weight ranges without wearing out easily.

When in use, the filling inside Hydrofeet® massaging insoles moves back and forth under the heel and ball area. This back and forth movement gives the unique massaging action that can probably be only experienced with Hydrofeet®. The massaging action helps improve circulation, especially in the leg and feet area. It’s like having a foot massage on the go. This makes the feet feel less tired, which make walking a lot more pleasurable and fun.

With pleasure and fun being the primary feelings that one can get from walking with Hydrofeet®, it’s not a distant reality that walking will be something that all people will look forward to doing more. Everybody loves doing something that’s fun and pleasurable, right?

Overcoming obesity or just fighting a few extra pounds is definitely a huge challenge and will take some time to accomplish. Although it may seem overwhelming, small steps like doing more walks and other physical activities can jumpstart the journey to better health. Hydrofeet® massaging insoles may seem an insignificant thing to have in dealing with obesity. But, it definitely works to help find the pleasure in walking to make this activity a healthy habit.
